Hansi: A review meeting was held on Wednesday at the local District Secretariat auditorium with the aim of facilitating the creation of Chirayu cards for eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Chief Minister's Chirayu Yojana. The meeting was presided over by Pratiksha Sangwan, Chief Minister's Good Governance Associate (CMGGA). Officials from various departments, including the Health Department, participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, Pratiksha Sangwan stated that ensuring 100% coverage of the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu schemes for every eligible family is a priority for the district administration. To achieve this, a special campaign will be conducted in the district until September 15. Special camps will be organized in every urban ward and rural village to create Chirayu cards for eligible citizens, ensuring that no eligible person is deprived of the scheme's benefits.
She informed that the district administration has prepared a detailed plan for the successful execution of this campaign. Under a micro-planning approach, specific action plans have been formulated for each village and ward.
Pratiksha Sangwan stated that to take the campaign to the masses, cooperation would be sought not only from the Health Department but also from the Development and Panchayat Department, Urban Local Bodies Department, Women and Child Development Department, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and other relevant departments. Working in coordination, all these departments will play an active role in bringing eligible citizens to the camps and facilitating the creation of their health cards.
She mentioned that the list of eligible citizens in the district has already been prepared. This list will soon be made available to the Sarpanchs of the respective Gram Panchayats and councilors of the Municipal Council so that they can contact eligible families in their areas and encourage them to attend the camps. This will accelerate the campaign and enable the creation of cards for the maximum number of people in a time-bound manner.
Officials were instructed during the meeting to ensure that necessary technical and administrative arrangements are in place at the camps beforehand, so that beneficiaries do not face any inconvenience. Instructions were also issued to regularly review the campaign and submit progress reports.
The Chief Minister's Good Governance Associate appealed to the public—specifically those eligible for the Ayushman Bharat and Chief Minister Chirayu schemes who do not yet possess a health card—to visit the camps being organized in their areas with the necessary documents and get their health cards made. He stated that this card serves as a vital means of providing financial security for the treatment of serious illnesses, and every eligible family should avail themselves of this benefit.
Officials from various departments attended the meeting, including SMO Dr. Rahul Buddhiraja, Narnaund SMO Dr. Yashpal, Municipal Council EO Rajendra Soni, Dr. Rajiv Dabla, Municipal Council Secretary Pradeep Kumar, BDPOs Ashok Kumar and Raj Singh, as well as Dr. Narendra Sharma, Dr. Bhavnesh, Dr. Vikram Gauria, Dr. Meenu Dhingra, Dr. Paramjit, Dr. Jagdeep, and Dr. Ramjot.
