Chandigarh:- The health of children of Meritorious School in Gurdaspur deteriorated after eating dinner, due to which about ten students were admitted to Civil Hospital Gurdaspur where they are undergoing treatment. On the other hand, parents have raised questions about the alleged quality of food.
According to information, around 8:30 pm on Sunday, eight to ten students staying in the school hostel suddenly fell ill. The students complained of severe stomach pain and vomiting. The school staff immediately took them to the nearest civil hospital.
On this matter, the hospital doctors say that all the students are being tested. The real reason will be clear only after the investigation report comes. At present, the condition of all the children is stable and they are being monitored.
On the other hand, the parents have accused the school administration of being negligent about the quality of food. Parents claimed that children are not being given quality food in the school and they have complained about this before.
