Chandigarh, October 21 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini reached the old age home in Sector-15, Panchkula on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and celebrated Diwali with the elderly. On this occasion, his godfather Mrs. Suman Saini was also present. The Chief Minister wished the elderly a happy Diwali, distributed sweets to them and sought their blessings.
Chief Minister Shri Saini shared the happiness of this festival by bursting fireworks with the elderly. He said that reaching the old age home in Panchkula and celebrating Deepotsav with the respected elderly was a very spiritual, inspiring and joyful experience. He said that this festival is a symbol of love, affection and human feelings, which teaches us that a true festival is the one in which a smile shines on every face and the light of belongingness shines in the heart.
Former Speaker of Haryana Vidhan Sabha Mr. Gian Chand Gupta, District President Mr. Ajay Mittal, Secretary of District Red Cross Society Panchkula Mrs. Savita Agarwal and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
