Chandigarh, August 16:- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid an emotional tribute to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary on Sunday at his official residence in Chandigarh. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late Vajpayee and paid homage to him, recalling his invaluable contribution to the nation.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that Atal Ji’s unwavering dedication to the nation, firmness in his convictions and commitment to democratic values made him a statesman of a unique stature in Indian politics, whose memory would always remain alive in the hearts of the people of the country.
He said that Atal Ji’s thoughts, visionary leadership and high ideals would continue to guide all of us on the path of national service.
