Chandigarh, January 23:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini paid homage to the great freedom fighter and founder of Azad Hind Fauj Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on the occasion of Parakram Diwas. The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to his statue at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park in Sector-3, Chandigarh on Friday and remembered his unparalleled contribution to the country.
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, with his valor, leadership and sacrifice, instilled the spirit of freedom in the countrymen. Today we are breathing in the open air, this is the result of the struggle and sacrifice of great revolutionaries like him. Recalling Netaji's unparalleled courage, patriotism and sacrifice, the Chief Minister said that his contribution to the country's independence is unparalleled.
The Chief Minister said that following the path of national service, self-reliance and determination shown by Netaji, a strong foundation of a developed India is being laid under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Today, the country is moving rapidly towards self-reliance, technological progress and global leadership.
He appealed to the youth to adopt the ideals of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and play an active role in nation building and realize the resolve of making India a world guru.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the people of the state on the holy festival of Basant Panchami and said that this festival is a symbol of knowledge, energy and new consciousness. This day inspires us to work with dedication for nation building.
