During this, he honored various artists. Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that regional cinema has emerged as the new strength of Indian cinema. Language is no longer a wall. A good story can cross the border of every language and today a good story can be seen by the whole world. He invited filmmakers and directors to shoot films in Haryana. He said that you come to Haryana, we will not only provide you with shooting locations, but also provide support. On this occasion, he also extended greetings on the occasion of National Sports Day on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand.
Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini praised this film expo and said that this expo is not only a celebration of India's talent, but also of India's creative power and India's culture. This festival is of an India that is writing its own stories. India is telling these stories to the whole world. In this film expo, there is a camera, there are producers, there are directors, there are artists, there are writers, who are playing an important role. This land gave the stories of the sacrifice of heroes. Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that the Haryana government has created a conducive and film-friendly environment for film production in the state by implementing the Film and Entertainment Policy-2022. The state government is giving a subsidy of up to Rs. 2 crore on shooting films in Haryana.
Cinema is the mirror of society Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that cinema in our country has never been just a means of entertainment. Cinema is also a mirror of society and also has the power to show a new direction to society. Cinema has the power to influence the thoughts and desires of the younger generation, as few other media have. He said that the journey of Indian cinema, which began with Dadasaheb Phalke's 'Raja Harishchandra' in 1913, has today entered a new era of technology and global reach. India is among the countries that produce the most films in the world and our strength is not only Hindi cinema, but also our linguistic and cultural diversity. India has a civilization of thousands of years, folklore, epics, heroic tales, stories of village chaupals, tribal traditions, different languages ??and countless dialects. Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini congratulated the team of Film Expo India and said that this event is actually a unique effort to bring the entire ecosystem of film production on one platform. He said that today the entertainment industry of the world is changing rapidly. There was a time when the story was written on paper, shot on camera and reached the cinema hall. Today, new mediums like AI, VFX, animation, gaming, virtual production, extended reality and OTT have been added to the same story. Now, as important as the artist standing in front of the camera, the young man sitting in front of the computer, who brings the world of imagination to life on the screen with his technical talent, is equally important. He said that the successful filmmaker of the future will be the one who will adopt new technology with an open mind, but will never leave his human sensibilities and cultural roots.
Film artist Mukesh Rishi praised the state government and Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini for the various development works being done by the Haryana government and the policies made regarding films. Film artist Preeti Sapru also spoke in detail about the Cine Artist Welfare Trust and Film Expo. Film artist Bindu Dara Singh, director Jyoti Yadav, artists Puneet Ishar and Balbir Singh Randhawa were present on the occasion.
