Sangrur:- Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann along with his wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur filled the forms under the SIR (Special Intensive Revision-2026) process here today and the forms were handed over to the BLO at the local Dream Land Colony. Talking to the media on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the SIR process that started on June 25 will continue till July 24. There are a total of 9 lakh 18 thousand 78 voters in Sangrur district and the BLOs have distributed the enumeration forms to a total of 8 lakh 88 thousand 989 voters by reaching their homes till June 30, which is about 90 percent.
Appealing to the people of Punjab, he said that every voter has to fill the form under SIR. The BLO will reach every house three times. The final draft will be published on August 3. If any person still fails to fill the form, then he can fill and submit Form No. 6 by September 3. After this process, the final voter list will be released in October 2026.
In response to a question, the Chief Minister said that the Aam Aadmi Party has fulfilled all the guarantees during the four and a half years of its government. He said that they are making plans for the beautification of Sangrur city and Sangrur will be one of the beautiful cities. In response to the question, Mann said that the video made while wearing a mask will be submitted to Sri Akal Takht Sahib. On this occasion, the Chief Minister's wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur was also present.
