Chandigarh, October 19 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini has greeted and extended his best wishes to all the citizens of the state on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Gavardhan Puja, Vishwakarma Diwas and Bhai Dooj. He also thanked the people of the state for their support and trust on the completion of one year of the third term of the Haryana Government.
Shri Naib Singh Saini in his message said that the holy festival of Diwali is a symbol of light, prosperity and goodwill. He said that our festivals are the identity of our culture. They inspire us to further strengthen the spirit of love, cooperation and unity towards each other. . Govardhan Puja is to remind us of the importance of gratitude towards nature and protection of the environment. Vishwakarma Day is an opportunity to honour the invaluable contribution of our artisans, craftsmen and labourers, who are the foundation of the progress of the state. The festival of Bhai Dooj further strengthens the unbreakable bond of brother-sister, which is the pride of our cultural heritage.
The Chief Minister said that the Haryana government has taken many historic steps for public welfare, inclusive development and good governance in one year of its third term. The schemes launched for the upliftment of farmers, youth, women, senior citizens and weaker sections of the society have brought about a positive change in the lives of lakhs of people. He said that these achievements are the result of the unwavering dedication and cooperation of the people of the state.
Mr. Saini appealed to the people of the state to be aware of the environment on this occasion of Diwali, celebrate a pollution-free festival and fulfill their responsibility towards cleanliness.
The Chief Minister also wished happiness, peace, prosperity and excellent health to all the people of the state.
