Chandigarh, December 5:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini directed the authorities to set up the proposed labour courts in Palwal, Rewari, Sonipat, Jhajjar and Bawal soon to resolve the labour related issues of the state residents. No delay or negligence will be tolerated in the establishment of these courts and the concerned authorities should complete this work with full dedication.
The Chief Minister was chairing a review meeting on the progress of the budget announcements for the financial year 2025-26 at the Civil Secretariat late on Thursday evening. Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that with the establishment of labour courts, lakhs of workers will get timely justice and the industrial environment will increase transparency and trust.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the construction of the proposed ESI hospitals in Sonipat and Karnal on priority.
He said that the construction of these two hospitals will provide better and modern health services to the workers, industrial areas and nearby citizens of the state. The officials were informed in the meeting that the construction work of the ESI hospital being built in Bawal is 86 percent complete, 97 percent in Panchkula and 96 percent in Bahadurgarh.
The Chief Minister said that the welfare of the workers is the first priority of the state government. Be it immediate resolution of disputes or expansion of basic services, the state government is taking concrete steps in every field.
He said that the labor community is the backbone of the economic progress of the state and it is the responsibility of the government to protect their safety, comfort and rights.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to regularly review all the projects related to the Labour Department included in the budget announcements.
He assured that if the department works in coordination and at a fast pace, all the targets will be fulfilled within the stipulated time and the workers will get benefits.
The meeting was attended by Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to the Labour Department Mr. Rajiv Ranjan, Commissioner and Secretary to the Finance Department Mr. Mohammad Sain, Commissioner of the Labour Department Mr. DK Behera, OSD to the Chief Minister Mr. Raj Nehru and other officials.
