Chandigarh:- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has left for Bengaluru for a week-long Vipassana session. The Chief Minister will stay at a private naturopathy centre in Bengaluru from July 2 to July 9. It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Mann has been continuously busy with political events, administrative meetings and government activities for a long time.
Especially during the last few days, his schedule had been extremely busy due to the 'Lok Milni' programmes and continuous visits he had done in various constituencies of Punjab, due to which he was feeling quite tired.
This is not the first time that the Chief Minister has gone for Vipassana; it is worth noting that Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann have been regularly visiting Vipassana meditation centres in the past as well. According to sources, this time, apart from the Chief Minister, two senior leaders of AAP Punjab have also already visited the Dhyan Kendra. However, political activities are intensifying in the state in view of the upcoming assembly elections, but government sources have made it clear that even in the absence of the Chief Minister, routine government work will continue as usual and there will be no disruption in administrative work.
