Chandigarh, March 19:- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini reached Panchkula on the first day of Chait Navratri with his wife Smt. Suman Saini and worshipped at Mata Mansa Devi temple and took blessings of the goddess and offered prayers. Before this, he also gave a message of environment protection by planting saplings in the temple complex.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner and Chief Administrator of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Pujasthal Board Shri Satpal Sharma presented the Chief Minister with a photograph of Mata Mansa Devi and a Hindu New Year calendar as a token of appreciation.
While talking to the media, the Chief Minister extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Chait Navratri and Hindu New Year. He said that today he has prayed to the feet of Mata Mansa Devi for the happiness, prosperity and good health of the people of the state. He prayed to the Goddess that the state of Haryana should prosper and move forward on the path of continuous progress.
The Chief Minister said that Navratri is a celebration of our prosperous culture and traditions. Devotees have immense faith in Mata Mansa Devi and during Navratri, lakhs of devotees come here with their wishes which are fulfilled by the Goddess.
In response to this question, the Chief Minister said that the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Pujasthal Board is carrying out many development works in Mata Mansa Devi Temple, Kali Mata Temple, Kalka and Chandi Mata Temple. He said that the construction work of the new building of the Sanskrit College operating in the Mata Mansa Devi Temple Complex is in progress.
Apart from this, the construction work of a new corridor to give a magnificent look to the temple is also going on at a fast pace, in which the facility of lift and escalator will be provided. Along with this, the Kali Mata Mandir Kalka and Chandi Mata Mandir, Chandi Mandir are also being renovated.
After this, the Chief Minister reached the blood donation awareness camp organized by the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Puja Sthal Board, District Red Cross Society Panchkula and Shri Shiv Kanwar Mahasangh Charitable Trust Panchkula in the temple complex and encouraged the blood donors by pinning badges on them.
