Dera Bassi, February 3: Under the Chief Minister's Health Scheme launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the process of creating health scheme cards for common citizens was completed in Ward No. 9 Shakti Nagar, Ward No. 13 Ravidas Bhawan, and near Ramlila Maidan in Dera Bassi. A large number of people arrived and got their health cards made, connecting with this scheme of the Punjab government. On this occasion, the MLA of the constituency, Kuljit Singh Randhawa, said that, “The Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann Health Scheme is a historic and welfare-oriented scheme of the Punjab government.
Under this scheme, every family is being provided free and cashless treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh per year. Millions of families are directly benefiting from this scheme.” He further added that in this era of expensive medical treatment, this scheme is proving to be a great relief for the poor and middle class.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government aims to ensure that no citizen suffers due to lack of treatment and that health services reach every household. Aam Aadmi Party volunteers played an active role during this process. The volunteers provided complete information about the scheme to the people and easily completed the process of creating health cards based on the necessary documents.
A large number of elderly people, women, and needy families benefited from this facility.
Under the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann Health Scheme, several major government and private hospitals in SAS Nagar (Mohali) district are listed, including JP Eye Hospital, Grecian Super Specialty Hospital, Kaushal Hospital Kharar, Amar Hospital, Kamboj Multi Specialty Hospital Kharar, Indus International Hospital, M-Care Hospital, Indus Super Specialty Hospital, Shri Sukhmani Multi Specialty Hospital Derabassi, Bhagali Hospital, Indus Hospital, Shri Guru Harkishan Sahib Charitable Eye Hospital Trust Sohana, Chaudhary Hospital, JP Hospital, Ace Heart and Vascular Institute, Cheema Medical Complex, Edison Hospital, and Mai Hospital. Thus, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's Health Scheme is emerging as a strong shield of health security for the common people in Dera Bassi and the entire surrounding area.
