Ratia, December 24:- After the decision taken in the Mahapanchayat to completely free Ratia, a district bordering Punjab, from drugs, Mahashakti Charitable Trust has announced a 51-member committee. The committee was announced by the founder of the trust, Bhawani Singh, at Maharaja Restaurant.
In which the youth of the area were given special responsibility. This committee will not only create awareness among the youth in the urban and surrounding areas of Ratia and try to wean them away from drugs, but will also identify those criminals with the help of the police who are ruining the young generation by smuggling drugs in the area.
Bhawani Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, Mahashakti Charitable Trust is actively involved in the campaign to completely free Fatehabad district from drugs. Trust committees have been formed in many villages of Fatehabad. The efforts of the trust have already saved many youth from the drug swamp, and drug peddlers have also been arrested.
He further said that Ratia, adjacent to Punjab, is the worst affected by the drug swamp. In a recent Mahapanchayat held in Ratia, people from all sections supported the trust and took up the task of making Ratia drug-free. After discussions in the Mahapanchayat, a 51-member committee was announced in Ratia.
Social workers Satpal Jindal, Paras Singla, Gurcharan Singh Khokhar, councilors Gaurav Sharma, Gurdeep Singh, Amrit Bal, former district councilors Bibo Indora, Sharma Chand Lali, Madan Kumar, Aman Raghav, Kulbir Kamana and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

These include Paras Singla, Councilor Gaurav Sharma, Gurcharan Singh Khokhar, Kuldeep Singh Kamana, former District Councilor Bibo Indora, Sharma Chand Lalli, Amritpal Singh, Sunil Mittal, Mukesh Mittal, Sanjay Bishnoi, Satpal Jindal, Dr. Naib Singh Mander, Roopchand Garg, Advocate Davinder Grover, Advocate Jaswinder Sharma, Shiv Soni, Bhola Ram Ode, Satish Handa, Sumit Saini, Kaka Singh Ladhuvas, Ashok Alika, former Councilor Nitin Garg, Gurunanak Academy Ratia Director Swaran Singh, Journalists Krishan Monga, Suresh Kumar, Kiran, Ramesh Kumar Lalli.
Apart from this, Jaiveer Bharpur, Joseph Kapoor, Gurcharan Singh Channa, Baldev Raj, Gurpreet Singh, Jagsir Singh Lali, Surinder Kumar, Mahinder Kaur (former chairman), Rani, Paramjit Kaur, Chhinder Kaur, Surinder Singh, Mewa Ram, Jagdish Singh Kalo, Sukhdev, Arjun Singh, Gurjant Singh, Shiv Wadhwa, Raju Karandi, Happy Aulakh, Sumir Kumar Ahirwan, Bagicha Singh have been included in the committee. It was also unanimously decided in the meeting to draw up future plans.
