Chandigarh, March 20:- Haryana Revenue and Urban Local Government Minister Vipul Goyal today inaugurated the Heart Center in Faridabad District Hospital (BK Hospital). He said that now modern treatment of heart diseases will be available to the general public at a low cost. While in private hospitals the cost of stent is around Rs 2 lakh, here this facility will be provided at affordable rates and tests will also be at a low fee.
He said that within a year the hospital will be expanded and a new modern hospital of 200 to 400 beds will also be established. The state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini is committed to strengthening health services. Describing BK Hospital as the lifeline of lakhs of people of the area, he gave priority to expansion of facilities.
He said that the hospital will be equipped with materials, building renovation, new machines and other facilities in a phased manner, along with the facility of a hearse will also be made available soon. Apart from this, Mahakal Rasoi will be started, where the relatives of the patients will get food for Rs 10 and free food will also be provided to the needy patients. Road, sewerage and other works will be started soon in the hospital premises at a cost of about Rs 2.10 crore.
He informed that on April 4, in the program of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini in Sector-12, Faridabad, announcements will be made about metro expansion, RRTS, new hospitals and other development projects. At the same time, an employment fair will be organized at J. C. Bose University on April 28 to provide employment opportunities to the youth.
Mayor Praveen Batra Joshi, District President Pankaj Pujan Rampal and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jayant Ahuja along with other officials were present on this occasion.
