Kotkapura, November 30 (Raghunandan Parashar): Hardeep Singh Minhas, a renowned social worker of the area, organized the 13th free eye camp at Kila School, Old City, near Bus Stand, Kotkapura, dedicated to the warm memory of his parents. In which Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Kultar Singh Sandhwan attended as the chief guest.
Speaker Sandhwan, while attending the camp, said that such free camps that are organized are very beneficial for the needy. Eyes, which are a very valuable gift given by God to man, without them, man remains in darkness, therefore eye care is very important. On this occasion, he said that such free camps should definitely be organized, so that any needy patient can be helped.
He said that the biggest act of charity is to bring light in a person's life. He said that the eyes of the patients who reached this camp were checked free of cost and the needy patients were given free medicines and free lenses were fitted.
On this occasion, Simranjit Singh MC Ward No. 4, Dr. Deepak Arora (MS) I, Dr. Bhupinderpal Kaur (MS) I and Monica Balyan (MS) I and a large number of needy people were present.
