Hisar, 24 March: On the occasion of Shaheedi Diwas, a blood donation camp was organized at Income Tax Bhawan, Sector-14 under the guidance of Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, North West Region Ashok Kumar Saroha and Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Shimla Vidisha Kalra. The camp was led by Surender Pal, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, Hisar.
Organized with the cooperation of members of the Income Tax Gazetted Officers Association and the Income Tax Employees Federation Hisar, Surender Pal, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, in his message paid tribute to the martyrs and thanked the blood donors. He said that blood donation is a great act of charity and one of the most effective ways to save lives. By donating blood, we can spread new hope in society and make a meaningful contribution to the service of humanity.
On this occasion, Dr. Poonam Singh, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, R. K. Munjal, Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Income Tax Officer Suresh Nangru, President of Officers Association Hisar, Suman Devi, Secretary, and Deepak Goyat, President of Employees Union, along with Secretary Ravindra Kumar and many other officers and employees of the department were present.
A total of 37 units of blood were collected during the camp. The Red Cross Society, Hisar provided services during the camp, and all blood donors were honored with certificates and mementos.
