Hansi, September 05:- MLA Vinod Bhayana inaugurated a library established by Sarv Kalyan Manch at Bal Bhawan Hansi on Saturday with the objective of providing better study facilities to children. The program was presided over by Dr. Savita Narwal, Vice Chairperson of the District Child Welfare Council.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vinod Bhayana said that for the overall development of children, providing a positive environment for reading and learning alongside education is extremely essential. The library will prove to be an important center of knowledge for students. He noted that even in today's digital age, the significance of books has not diminished, as books play a vital role in enriching knowledge, critical thinking, and personality development among children.
He appreciated the efforts made by Bal Bhawan in the interest of children and emphasized that such activities should be expanded further with the cooperation of social organizations. Extending Teacher's Day greetings to the children, he stated that teachers play a crucial role in steering children's lives in the right direction.
Presiding over the event, Dr. Savita Narwal said that the primary objective of the District Child Welfare Council is to offer better opportunities to hone children's overall development, education, values, and talent. She mentioned that various creative and educational activities are organized periodically for children at Bal Bhawan, and the new library will benefit students in their studies, competitive exam preparation, and general knowledge enhancement.
Naveen Kaushik, President of Sarv Kalyan Manch, stated that providing a better educational and study environment for children is a collective responsibility of society. With this aim, the Manch established the library at Bal Bhawan and will continue to support social and creative endeavors for children in the future.
Impressed by the activities at Bal Bhawan, Vinay Jain, President of Agroha Vikas Trust Hisar, donated two air conditioners for the convenience of the children, for which the District Child Welfare Council expressed gratitude. Speakers highlighted that the support of philanthropists and organizations plays a vital role in providing superior facilities to children.
District Child Welfare Officer Omprakash Bibyan informed that the District Child Welfare Council Hansi is conducting various activities for the holistic development of children at Bal Bhawan. These include cultural events, painting, music, dance, sports, yoga, computer training, summer camps, Bal Mahotsav, competitions, and awareness drives. Through these activities, children's talents are recognized and nurtured.
He added that along with providing a creative environment, special focus is given to instilling confidence, discipline, leadership qualities, and a sense of social responsibility among children, with the new library being a key step in this direction.
Children presented various cultural and creative performances during the event, and guests praised and encouraged their talent. The District Child Welfare Council expressed gratitude to chief guest MLA Vinod Bhayana, Dr. Savita Narwal, Sarv Kalyan Manch President Naveen Kaushik, Agroha Vikas Trust President Vinay Jain, and other guests and supporting organizations. Division Child Welfare Officer Wazir Dangi, Program Officer Monika, Manjeet Jangra from Sarv Kalyan Manch, Rajpal, President of Private School Association, Karmbir, Jai Prakash Nyolia, Dharmbir, Amarjit, and all staff members were present on the occasion.
