Hansi: To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the national song "Vande Mataram," BJP workers organized a grand memorial celebration at the district office. Hansi MLA Vinod Bhayana was the chief guest. Held in the presence of BJP State General Secretary Surendra Poonia, the event was presided over by BJP Hansi District President Ashok Saini.
At the event, workers and members of the public sang the song "Vande Mataram" collectively. Welcoming everyone present, BJP Hansi District President Ashok Saini, who chaired the event, said, "We are very fortunate to be witnessing this occasion."
Addressing the workers, Chief Guest MLA Vinod Bhayana said, "Vande Mataram is not just two words, but the foundation of self-motivation and existence for millions of Indians. This song symbolizes the spirit of dedication, loyalty, and sacrifice to Mother India."
He explained that Vande Mataram was composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in his timeless novel Anandamath, and it is believed to have been completed on November 7, 1875 (Akshay Navami). This song, instead of being confined to literature, became a powerful slogan of the freedom movement.
State General Secretary Surendra Poonia, while extending his best wishes on the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, said that today, India is rapidly progressing on the path of self-reliance under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He appealed to children to enrich their lives not only with academic knowledge but also with national spirit, social values, and good manners.
It is the duty of all Indians to prioritize indigenous products in honor of the motherland and contribute to the creation of a self-reliant India.
