Karnal, November 14: Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan has said that the Bihar election results are a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to make India a developed nation and the trust people have built in the government due to his strong leadership.
Mr. Kalyan was speaking to reporters today after listening to people's problems at the PWD Rest House in Gharaunda. He said that he regularly meets with the people of the Gharaunda Assembly constituency. He organizes public hearings from time to time to address their issues and discuss development projects. He strives to address as many people's problems as possible.
Responding to a question regarding the Bihar elections, he said that according to information received so far, the NDA is likely to win a majority in Bihar. People have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision and strong leadership to make India a developed nation. The Prime Minister's work to move the country forward in the national interest has increased people's confidence. The Bihar results are a result of this.
**Irresponsible allegations against constitutional institutions are not appropriate
Regarding another question regarding vote theft, he said that statements that create chaos should be avoided. Constitutional institutions should be trusted. It is not appropriate to make baseless allegations against these institutions. Like the government, the opposition also plays an important role. The opposition holds the government accountable. Its role should be positive.
**Services to be launched at the Medical University next year
Mr. Kalyan stated that numerous projects have been implemented in the Gharaunda Assembly constituency over the past ten years. People will begin receiving services at the Medical University next year. The construction of the ring road is expected to be completed within six months. Work on the NCC Academy has also resumed. Work has been done on projects such as schools, colleges, and ITIs. New hospitals and roads have been constructed. Efforts are being made to ensure that eligible people benefit from government schemes.
A large number of colonies in the city have been legalized and basic amenities have been provided. Parks and a bus stand have been constructed. All development demands raised in recent years have been addressed. Phase 1 of the mini bypass in Gharaunda was completed in the previous plan. A road connecting 20 villages was constructed by acquiring land from the railway. Future projects will also be pursued. Work is being carried out with utmost seriousness to take Gharaunda to new heights of progress.
Regarding the question of stopping AC buses in Gharaunda and opening an AIPRO office, he said that he would obtain information from the department and take appropriate steps. Regarding the issue of only 25 tokens being issued daily to correct Aadhaar card errors at the district headquarters, he said that he would speak with the Deputy Commissioner about this matter.
**Instructions given to officers to resolve problems
Earlier, the Assembly Speaker spent over three hours listening to people's problems at the PWD Rest House complex and directed the concerned officials to resolve them. Residents of Anokha Colony in Gharaunda demanded the paving of streets, while residents of Madanpur demanded the construction of a new school building. Residents of Rasulpur demanded the paving of streets and a community center.
Similarly, residents of Kalvehdi demanded the resumption of stalled road work to Pundri and the paving of the Canal Department's drain from the Pundri-Kaimla turn to Panipat Road. Residents of Kohand requested the paving of streets on Kaimla Road.
In addition, villagers demanded the installation of new studs and repair of old ones in Dhakwala, Mustafabad, and Mandoura, the construction of community centers in Gagsina and Staundi, the paving of farm roads in Ganjogarhi, and the installation of new electricity transformers and the replacement of broken poles.
