Mahilpur:- The promise made to the villagers to make Bham Di Phirni of Chabbewal assembly constituency concrete has been fulfilled, this was revealed by AAP MLA from Chabbewal constituency Dr. Ishank Kumar. He said that this 1.5 km long Phirni has been made of concrete and this road has also been made 18 feet wide, on which Rs 1.15 crore has been spent. He said that this road, which was breaking down repeatedly due to water problem, will now be more durable with the construction of concrete and due to its width, traffic will also be more comfortable.
Dr. Ishank further said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, work is being done at a fast pace to develop the infrastructure of the roads. He said that strengthening the infrastructure of the state is the priority of the government so that people can get convenience during transportation. He said that his main agenda is development, therefore, all the villages are being developed according to the priorities of the people without any bias.
While meeting the people, he said that Chabbewal constituency is on the path of rapid development and his main goal is to do public welfare work with the cooperation of the people. He said that in the villages where funds are being released for development works, work has been started for playgrounds, sewerage and gyms etc., giving priority to the quality of all works including streets and drains. On this occasion, the villagers present thanked their MLA for this procession and other development works being done in the village and reiterated their solidarity in their favor.
