Hansi: Satpal Malik, President of the Arya Samaj Mandir, Hansi, and Vedic scholar Satyadev Shastri attended the regular morning yoga class—conducted by Bharat Swabhiman and the Patanjali Yoga Samiti at the Arya Samaj Mandir—as chief guests today. The Patanjali Yoga family accorded them a warm welcome and honored them by presenting floral garlands and a commemorative 'Om' memento.
Speaking on the occasion, Satyadev Shastri elaborated on the eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga—Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi. He stated that yoga is not merely a means to maintain physical health but a comprehensive science for an individual's physical, mental, intellectual, and spiritual development. He emphasized that a healthy, cultured, and addiction-free society can be built only by adopting regular yoga practice and a Vedic lifestyle.
Satpal Malik, President of the Arya Samaj Mandir, commended the 'Yoga Awareness Campaign' being conducted by Bharat Swabhiman and the Patanjali Yoga Samiti for the public good. He urged every citizen to resolve to practice yoga daily to keep themselves and their families healthy.
At the conclusion of the program, class instructor Ashok Nitya Yogi expressed gratitude to all the guests and the practitioners present.
