Chandigarh, August 18:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that 25 thousand tonnes of gypsum will be procured at a cost of about Rs. 15.63 crore to improve 10 lakh acres of land of farmers of the state, so that the farmers can get the required quantity of gypsum.
Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini was presiding over the meeting of the High Powered Purchase Committee in Chandigarh. Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Mr. Vipul Goyal, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Mr. Shyam Singh Rana, Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta and other senior officials were also present in the meeting.
**21680 MT to be built in Kaithal Godown and Quality Control Lab**
The Chief Minister said that gypsum is made available to farmers for land improvement at 50 percent subsidy through Haryana Land Reforms Corporation. He said that high quality gypsum should be made easily available so that the land can be improved quickly and made more fertile. Apart from this, approval was also given to build a 21680 MT godown and a quality control lab at a cost of Rs. 9.80 crore in the HAFED complex in Kaithal.
**Drinking water schemes worth Rs. 75.50 crore approved in 9 villages of Panipat**
The Chief Minister approved drinking water schemes worth Rs. 75.50 crore in 9 villages of Panipat district including Bhanswal, Kutani, Rajakheri, Nimbri, Ugarkheri, Risalu, Nangalkheri, Kabri, Garhi, Sikanderpur under the Mahagram Yojana. Similarly, the sewerage line in Shani Mantri, MPS Gudha area of ??Gohana city was also approved at a cost of Rs 16.30 crore.
Shri Naib Singh Saini gave approval to build a judicial complex in Pinjore Kalka Sector 27. It will cost Rs 22.70 crore. Similarly, the work of the third phase of the administrative block of the small secretariat in Ambala city was approved at a cost of Rs 34 crore.
**Government Nursing College to be built in Safidon**
The Chief Minister said that the work which will be completed in less than the stipulated time will be given incentives as per the government's plan. He has given approval to prepare the construction work of Bank Square Bhawan Phase-1 in Ambala Cantt at a cost of Rs 52 crore. Apart from this, the construction of Government Nursing College Safidon will also be done at a cost of Rs 37.49 crore.
**District jails to be built in Panchkula and Fatehabad**
The Chief Minister has approved Rs 16.80 crore for upgrading and strengthening roads in Industrial Area Phase-1 Panchkula. The district jail will be constructed in village Jalauli of Panchkula at a cost of about Rs 40 crore. Apart from this, about 83 km of road will be repaired and maintained at a cost of Rs 65.66 crore on Kundli Manesar road section road.
The Chief Minister also approved the construction of district jail in Fatehabad. It will cost Rs 37 crore. Similarly, an amount of Rs 21.17 crore will be spent on water supply work in Julana city. He said that the hospital in Narnaul will be upgraded and made 100 to 200 beds. It will cost Rs 26.30 crore. A 50-bed AYUSH hospital will be constructed in Yamunanagar at a cost of Rs 16.89 crore.
The Chief Minister approved the work of Kurukshetra Saharanpur State Highway. Rs 26.90 crore will be spent on the approximately 10-meter wide road. He said that DPR is being prepared to make this road four-lane. After this, Kurukshetra Saharanpur road will be made four-lane.
