Haroli/Una, June 26 (Rajveer Chopra): A free health camp was organized in the village of Gondpur Behli (under Gram Panchayat Gondpur Jaichand) by the 'MP Mobile Health Service'—an initiative operating under the guidance of former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur and with the support of the Prayas Society. The camp was successfully conducted with the cooperation of the Village Pradhan and District BJP General Secretary Lakhvir Singh Lakhi, along with Deputy Pradhan Parveen Kumar.
During the camp, 203 patients underwent health check-ups, and 123 free laboratory tests were performed. Patients received necessary medical consultations, free medicines, and important health-related information.
Speaking on the occasion, District BJP General Secretary Lakhvir Singh Lakhi expressed his gratitude to MP Anurag Singh Thakur, stating that the 'MP Mobile Health Service' is proving to be a boon for rural areas. It enables people to access specialist medical consultations, free tests, and medicines right within their own villages. He extended special thanks to MP Anurag Singh Thakur and the Prayas Society for this public-spirited initiative.
During the camp, the medical team raised awareness among the public about the importance of regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, hygiene, and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Ruchi, Nihal Singh, and Manish provided their services at the event. Local residents also appreciated the initiative, describing it as highly beneficial and conducive to public welfare in rural areas.
