Chandigarh, November 16 - Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that Ahirwal area has always been a land of heroes, this land has given birth to many heroes who have sacrificed everything for the country. It is a matter of good fortune for me to come to such an ascetic land. Today, with the organization of the Jayanti program of Maharaja Sursaini Ji here, this land has become even more sacred. Maharaja Sursaini was a very glorious, knowledgeable of the Vedas, law-loving, religious and people-oriented king. There was complete socialism in his reign.
The Chief Minister was addressing the state-level Maharaja Sursaini Jayanti celebrations in Narnaul as the chief guest today. Earlier, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 19 projects worth Rs 84 crore.
He assured to fulfill most of the demands placed before him by Narnaul Assembly constituency MLA Mr. Om Prakash Yadav and said that the wheel of development of this region will continue to turn at a fast pace.
Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini has meanwhile announced that the general hospital to be built at Maharishi Chayvan Medical College Koriyawas will not be left behind in the development of Narnaul. The unapproved colonies here will also be approved as per the rules.
Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini, while congratulating the people present on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Sursaini Ji, said that the history of the Saini community is old and glorious. The pioneer of social revolution, Maharaja Jyotiba Phule and the first woman teacher of Narat, Savitri Bai Phule, are the gems of the Saini community. They did revolutionary work in the society, especially in the field of women's education. Similarly, they dedicated their lives for the upliftment of the weaker sections.
The Chief Minister said that the Saini community has made an important contribution to the country's freedom movement. This community has also given freedom fighters like Sardar Mehna Singh Saini and Ajit Singh Saini, soldiers of the Azad Hind Fauj and Hari Singh Saini.
This same society has given birth to social workers like Sant Shri Lakhmidas, Senapati Gulab Chand Saini of Vallabhgarh state, Babu Jagdev Prasad Kushwaha, the leader of social revolution in Bihar, players like hockey magician Major Dhyan Chand Khushwaha and artists like Padma Shri Nekchand Saini, the builder of the Rock Garden in Chandigarh, are also the gifts of this same massage.
The Chief Minister said that the government is working to convey the message of saints and great men to the masses under the Sant Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana. The organization of Maharaja Sursaini Jayanti celebrations is also a series of this scheme.
