Kharar, March 17: In the elections for the Chairman of Kharar Block Samiti, Aam Aadmi Party's Raghbir Singh Modi was elected Chairman and Nirpal Singh Mander was elected Vice Chairman.
A total of 14 votes were polled during the election, out of which Raghbir Singh Modi got 8 votes and he was successful in winning.
On this occasion, MLA of Kharar constituency Anmol Gagan Mann was also specially present. He congratulated the newly elected office bearers and wished them a good future.
In his address on this occasion, Raghbir Singh Modi said that he will never let the trust reposed in him by the people and Kharar MLA Anmol Gagan Mann break. He said that he will discharge his responsibility with complete honesty and hard work and will make every effort for the development of Kharar area.
There was a great celebration in the joy of the election victory. The workers expressed their happiness by dancing Bhangra along with Anmol Gagan Maan.
A large number of party workers and local leaders were present on this occasion, who congratulated the newly elected representatives.
