Hoshiarpur:- MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar Chabbewal, while inaugurating the newly built library, science lab and newly built classrooms at the Government High School in nearby village Bichhohi, said that the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has set new milestones in the field of education in the state, due to which the government schools of Punjab have been leading in education across the country.
While dedicating the library built at a cost of Rs. 11 lakh, science laboratory built at a cost of Rs. 9 lakh and additional classroom built at a cost of Rs. 7.55 lakh at the Government High School village Bichhohi to the students, MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar Chabbewal said that with the strengthening of the school's infrastructure, the students will get better opportunities for education and these facilities will be of great use to the students in the future.
He said that the Punjab government has provided more than one lakh desks for the convenience of school students so that they can study comfortably. He said that 5 new computers and 2 digital screens were also dedicated to the students at Bichhohi School.
MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar said that along with strengthening the infrastructure of schools in Chabbewal Vidhan Sabha constituency, every educational facility is being ensured so that students of government schools can get education in a modern way.
He said that along with the establishment of smart classrooms and computer labs in schools, teachers are being sent to different countries for world-class training so that they can make the students of government schools aware of global level education systems and technologies.
