Tahliwal/Haroli/Una, February 4: On the occasion of the 87th birth anniversary of the great social worker and founder of Himotkarsh Parishad, the late Kanwar Hari Singh, an inspiring example of service, dedication, and humanity was witnessed. A grand voluntary blood donation camp was organized on this occasion under the joint auspices of the Press Club Haroli and the Haroli Block Industrial Association.
Youths from Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, social organizations, representatives from the industrial sector, and common citizens enthusiastically participated in the blood donation camp. Approximately 95 to 100 units of blood were collected during the camp. The blood collection was managed by the expert medical team of BDC Blood Center, Nawanshahr.
**Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri was the Chief Guest**
Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri graced the occasion as the chief guest. He inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp and said:
“Blood donation is the greatest donation. It is a true and noble act of giving life to an unknown person.”
He remembered the social service and public welfare works of the late Kanwar Hari Singh and said that this event is a true tribute to his ideals.
**Successful Organization Under the Leadership of Narayan Prabhakar and Dinesh Gautam**
The camp was successfully organized under the able leadership of Press Club Haroli President Narayan Prabhakar and Chief Patron Dinesh Gautam. Under their guidance, the Press Club Haroli is continuously advancing service activities related to social concerns.
On this occasion, all blood donors were honored with certificates of appreciation, and gratitude was expressed to the collaborating organizations and volunteers.
