Hoshiarpur:- As part of the campaign against drugs being run by the Punjab government, State Awardee Bhai Varinder Singh Masiti, Eye Donor Incharge Tanda, along with BDPO Tanda Rajiv Kumar, reached the BDPO office Tanda today and made people aware against drugs. On this occasion, Bhai Masiti informed the people about the adverse effects of drugs on the human body.
He told how a person gradually gets trapped in the swamp of drugs and causes loss to himself and his entire family, both physically and financially. On this occasion, BDPO Tanda Rajiv Kumar said that if a person is trapped in the swamp of drugs, then inform the administration so that he can be taken out of the swamp of drugs and his treatment can be done at the right time.
He said that drug treatment is completely free in all government hospitals of Punjab. On this occasion, Bhai Masiti and BDPO Rajiv Kumar highly praised the campaign against drugs being run by the Punjab government, War on Drugs, and advised people to stay away from bad symptoms like drugs.
On this occasion, Bhai Masiti also informed all the officers and employees about blood donation while alive?? and eye donation after death??, and organ donation. On this occasion, besides others, BDPO Tanda Rajiv Kumar, SEPO Ravinder Singh, Panchayat Officer Bhupinder Singh, APO Rakesh, ZE Ravinder Singh etc. were present.
