Hansi: Taking another significant step towards providing better road facilities to citizens, the construction of a new road from Chhabra Chowk to Umra Gate was officially inaugurated by MLA Vinod Bhayana. A total of ?23,71,000 will be spent on this project.
At the inauguration, MLA Vinod Bhayana stated that strong and durable roads are essential for the overall development of the city. This route from Chhabra Chowk to Umra Gate is a major and busy thoroughfare in the city, carrying a large number of vehicles, pedestrians, and merchants daily. He stated that due to the poor condition of this road, people were facing difficulties in commuting, which is why the decision to reconstruct this road has been taken.
The MLA gave clear instructions to the departmental officials and contractor involved in the construction work to complete the road within the stipulated timeframe. He stated that any kind of negligence or delay in development work would not be tolerated. He categorically emphasized the need to use only quality materials in construction, ensuring long-term durability and avoiding the need for frequent repairs. He also stated that a new sewerage line would be laid before road construction.
MLA Vinod Bhayana stated that the government's priority is to provide the public with timely and high-quality basic amenities. Roads are not just a means of transportation; they are also directly linked to the city's economic activities, trade, education, and health services. He stated that better roads not only facilitate traffic flow but also reduce accidents and save time.
Local citizens and businesses expressed their gratitude to MLA Vinod Bhayana upon the commencement of road construction.
The MLA assured those present that the series of development projects will continue in the future, keeping in mind the needs of the area. He also directed the officials to regularly monitor the construction work and ensure immediate action on receiving any kind of complaint. MLA Vinod Bhayana said that the development of Hansi is his top priority and he will continuously strive for balanced development in the city and rural areas. On this occasion, Municipal Council Chairman Praveen Ailawadi, Tanuj Khurana, Vinod Saini, Sonu Jangra, Shyam Khanda, Subhash Yadav, Charanjeet Gawri, Krishna Allahabadi, Tarun Arora, Rakesh Bhatia, Bittu Sardar, Tarachand and many dignitaries from the area were present.
