Chandigarh, July 9:- Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Krishan Kumar Bedi has said that a new era of development will begin in the state on July 17. On this day, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will flag off the country's first hydrogen-powered train from Jind. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of other development projects worth crores of rupees. The Prime Minister's visit to Jind will be a witness to the development of the state and will write a new story of progress.
Minister Shri Krishan Kumar Bedi was addressing a press conference in Jind on Thursday. He said that July 17 will be a historic day for Jind as well as Haryana. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address a huge public meeting on the same day at the ground in front of Eklavya Stadium and will also dedicate and inaugurate development projects for other areas of the state through virtual medium.
He said that Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate two new big Shri Ram Medical Colleges in Bhiwani and Narnaul, as well as inaugurate the 10 km long elevated railway track of Kurukshetra. The construction of this track will relieve the residents of the region from the traffic jams at about half a dozen railway crossings.
He said that the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the Ambala, Kala Amb, Greenfield Forelane corridor expansion, inauguration of the Haryana section of the Delhi-Katra Expressway, expansion of Jind-Gohana NH 352A, Hansi-Barwala Forelane and Bikaner-Siwani-Sonipat road projects and the state-of-the-art Sikh Museum in Kurukshetra. All these projects will be inaugurated and laid through virtual medium from the proposed public meeting in Jind.
The Minister said that with the inauguration and foundation stone laying of these projects, Jind will become a confluence of new faith, development and future in the state on July 17. He said that this visit of the Prime Minister will also give a boost to new opportunities and expansion of strong infrastructure, industrial and commercial activities in Haryana. He said that the people of the state will not only get the direct benefits of the projects, but will also get health services and strong connectivity facilities.
