Bhawanigarh, July 27:- MLA of Sangrur constituency, Smt. Narinder Kaur Bhraj, formally inaugurated and dedicated an Aam Aadmi Clinic equipped with modern facilities, built at a cost of Rs. 27 lakh, to the people of the area in Bhawanigarh today. On this occasion, she stated that the primary objective of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann is to provide standard, easily accessible healthcare services that are not just cheap, but completely free of cost, to every citizen. Aam Aadmi Clinic has proven to be a historic initiative in this direction.
MLA Bhraj said that earlier, people had to make rounds of distant hospitals for the treatment of common illnesses, which cost both time and money. Now, through these clinics, people will get facilities like expert medical advice, free medicines, necessary lab tests, and basic health check-ups under one roof right in their own locality. This will not only strengthen public health security but also further boost people's trust in the government healthcare system.
She mentioned that the Punjab government is continuously working to bring comprehensive improvements in the fields of health and education. Millions of people have already availed free health services through the Aam Aadmi Clinics established across the state. The government's goal is to ensure that no person is deprived of treatment due to financial hardship.
MLA Bhraj said that this new clinic in Bhawanigarh will prove to be very beneficial for thousands of families in the area. She stated that the government is continuously strengthening infrastructure to provide high-level health services to people near their homes, and public welfare development works will continue at the same pace in the future as well.
She appealed to the people to make maximum use of the free health services available at Aam Aadmi Clinics, get their health checked periodically, and remain conscious about their health. She said that timely detection of illness and prompt treatment are the foundation of a healthy society.
