Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, March 5: Today, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh visited the Rural Health Training Center (RHTC) in Saneta. On this occasion, he stated that student doctors studying at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences will receive training at the Rural Health Training Center. He stated that professors and doctors will be present at all times, and medical facilities will be available to the public.
He stated that an OPD has been established, an X-ray machine has been installed, and a dental clinic has also been established. He added that medical students will visit villages to meet with families, gather information about various diseases and problems, and provide on-the-spot medical care.
MLA Kulwant Singh stated that this is a major gift from Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's government to the people of the Mohali constituency, and people should take full advantage of it. He appealed to the people of the area to come here to get treatment from the team of specialist doctors. He said that government doctors treat patients with a spirit of service.
Speaking to reporters, MLA Kulwant Singh said that since the Aam Aadmi Party government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, assumed office, the government has been fulfilling its promises and guarantees. He said that 600 units of free electricity was announced for the convenience of the people, and today more than 80 percent of families are benefiting from it.
He said that the government has paid special attention to basic infrastructure such as health and education in Punjab since its inception. Mohalla clinics have been opened on a large scale, and doctors and necessary staff have been recruited in government hospitals, ensuring smooth functioning of health services. Furthermore, necessary staff have also been provided in all schools in Punjab.
He said that now there is no major financial burden on the people regarding health, as Mohalla Clinics are already functioning on a large scale and now cards are being made on a large scale under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme of Rs. 10 lakh and treatment has also started under this scheme.
