Chandigarh, August 21:– The Haryana government has taken a big step towards strengthening the medical infrastructure in the rural areas of the state and providing health facilities to remote areas. State Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao informed that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has approved the opening of 9 new sub-health centres in the state and the upgrading of 1 sub-health centre to Primary Health Centre (PHC).
The biggest beneficiary of this decision has been Nuh (Mewat) district, where 7 new sub-health centres will be opened. These include villages Ranika, Devla Nangli, Mahun, Gaudhola, Lafuri, Baded and Cheela. Apart from this, one new sub-health centre each will be opened in village Bhandor of Rewari district and village Mochiwali of Sirsa district. At the same time, the status of the existing sub-health centre in village Ransika of Gurugram district will be upgraded to Primary Health Centre. Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that the main objective of the government is to provide better treatment facilities to the last person standing in the queue. With the creation of 7 new centres in a development-sensitive area like Nuh, access to mother-child care, regular vaccination and first aid will be easy there. On the other hand, with the creation of a PHC in Ransika, availability of doctors, basic check-ups and 24-hour emergency primary services will be available in this rural area of ??Gurugram, which will relieve the villagers from having to travel to big cities. This decision will provide new strength to the medical infrastructure in the rural areas of the state.
