Chandigarh, July 21:- The 8th meeting of the Board of Directors of Haryana Airports Development Corporation Limited was held in Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Haryana Civil Aviation Minister and Chairman of Haryana Airports Development Corporation Mr. Vipul Goyal. In the meeting, various agenda items related to development of civil aviation infrastructure, expansion of air ambulance services, financial management and further strengthening of administrative processes were discussed in detail and several important proposals were approved.
The meeting specifically discussed the expansion of Heli Ambulance (Medical, Tourism and Public Transport) services in the state. During this, the plans for upgradation of helipads built near medical colleges located in Faridabad, Karnal, Sonipat, Gurugram and Rohtak were reviewed in coordination with the Health Department and various hospitals.
During the meeting, Cabinet Minister Mr. Vipul Goyal directed the officials to complete all the ongoing aviation projects in the state within the stipulated time frame and with high quality standards, so that new opportunities for trade, tourism and employment can be created in the state.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department Mrs. G. Anupama, Additional Chief Secretary of the Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Department Mr. Apurv Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance and Planning Department Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, Director General and Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department Mr. Anshaj Singh, Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Yash Pal and Additional Director of the Haryana Civil Aviation Department Mr. Manish Kumar Lohan along with other senior officials.
