Morinda, August 31:- On the occasion of the birthday of Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson and senior leader Harsukhinder Singh Babbi Badal, a blood donation camp was organized by his close associate Youth Leader Bikramjit Singh Bikki Khairpur at Community Health Center Morinda. The team of Blood Bank of Government Hospital Rupnagar collected blood from 25 blood donors during this camp.
Giving information about this blood donation camp, Youth Leader Bikki Khairpur said that people from the city and surrounding areas came and donated blood in this blood donation camp organized on the occasion of Babbi Badal's birthday. He said that during the camp, to boost the morale of the blood donors, they were honored with a badge and a certificate, while refreshments (food and drink) were also arranged for the blood donors.
Youth leader Bikki Khairpur said that Harsukhinder Singh Babbi Badal, who reached this blood donation camp, thanked the blood donors and said that blood donation is called Mahadan because in it neither the blood donor knows who has received the blood given by me nor the blood recipient knows who has donated the blood that I am receiving. He said that every drop of blood collected during this blood donation camp can prove helpful in saving the life of a needy person.
Babbi Badal said that he is feeling happy by organizing a blood donation camp at Government Hospital Morinda on the occasion of his birthday. On this occasion, while he thanked the blood donors, he also specially thanked the blood bank team of Government Hospital Rupnagar. He said that blood donation is not just a social service, but a service that gives life to a needy person. He also appealed to all social and religious organizations, youth clubs and other institutions to organize maximum blood donation camps.
On this occasion, the President of the Municipal Council Morinda, Jagpal Singh Jolly, Vice President Harjinder Singh Chhibber and Councilor Harjit Singh Sodhi specially arrived and wished Harsukhinder Singh Babbi Badal a happy birthday by offering him prasad and siropa brought from the five Takht Sahibans by Youth Leader Bikramjit Singh Bikki Khairpur and cutting an 11 kg milk cake to sweeten his mouth.
