Nawanshahr- The 14th annual blood donation camp was organized by Bhagat Puran Singh Lok Sewa Trust at Gurdwara Sadh Sangat in the famous village Barnala Kalan near here. The camp was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Trust, Harprabh Mahal Singh himself by donating blood.
The technical team of BDC Blood Center Nawanshahr, led by Dr. Ajay Bagga, received 40 units of blood from voluntary blood donors. The ceremony of honoring the blood donors and presenting certificates was performed by the members of the Trust. G.S. Toor, on his behalf, presented special honors to the volunteer women.
On this occasion, Harprabh Mahal Singh said that the Trust, following the guidance shown by Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, has continued to work on many projects for public welfare. In which apart from blood donation camps, free eye camps, Sewing training course, making the village a role model for road safety awareness, planting and distributing saplings as an effort to purify the environment, identifying and helping the needy, etc. are prominent.
Harprabhmahal Singh, G.S. Toor, J.S. Gidda, Dr. Ajay Bagga, Sukhraj Singh Toor, Chain Singh, Mahinder Singh Doaba Marble, Manjit Singh, Satsaroop Singh, Sucha Singh, Avtar Singh, Gurjot Singh, Bhai Jaspal Singh, Sucha Singh and the Sangat were present in the camp.
