Hansi: Regarding the preparations for the 12th International Yoga Day, DC Rahul Narwal directed officials of various departments, stating that the International Yoga Day program will be organized with great enthusiasm on June 21. Along with the message of 'Yoga-Yukt', the 12th Yoga Day program will launch an attack on drug abuse. The event will see participation from the Sports Department, Police Department, Education Department, social organizations, and all sections of society. He mentioned that a 'Yoga Marathon' would be organized to create awareness about Yoga Day. In addition to the district level, programs will be held at the sub-division level, block level, and in every 'Vyayamshala' (gymnasium).
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini gave necessary instructions to the District Magistrates across the state regarding the 12th Yoga Day program via video conference.
Directing the officials, DC Rahul Narwal stated that the School Education Department, Higher Education Department, Sports Department, Health Department, and Police Department would specifically participate in the programs. Furthermore, there will be significant participation from women and elected representatives from Urban Local Bodies and the Panchayat Department. He instructed that maximum youth should be connected to the Yoga Day program and emphasized highlighting the issue of 'drug de-addiction' during awareness activities.
The DC instructed the AYUSH Department to organize yoga camps for the program. He suggested preparing yoga trainers from the Sports or Education departments in addition to those from the AYUSH department so that they can guide 'Yogasana' and 'Pranayama' in the village-level gymnasiums. DC Rahul Narwal announced that City Magistrate Himanshu Chauhan has been appointed as the Nodal Officer for Yoga Day.

He asked all District Magistrates to ensure maximum registration of youth, women, students, and public representatives from both urban and rural areas, along with their own registration.
