Hoshiarpur- Municipal Corporation Ward No. 8 Councilor Chief Ram Ral said that the sanitation workers of the city are on strike over their demands, due to which there is a lot of dirt in the city. Chief Ram said that the festive season has started, but the festive season will be colorless due to the dirt spread in the city.
He said that due to the heaps of garbage lying at various places in the city, when the idol of Hanuman ji passes through the city roads, the religious faith of the devotees will be hurt due to the garbage spread on the roads.
When the holy tableau of Shri Ram passes through the city during the Dussehra festival, it will be disrespectful to the holy forms of Shri Ram and Lakshman ji. Chief Ram said that the government should quickly consider the legitimate demands of the sanitation workers so that cleanliness can be restored in the city.
