Karnal, September 23: Last evening, acting on a tip-off, a team from the Assandh police station, led by Head Constable Rajendra Kumar, arrested two accused from Mund Road, Outer Assandh. The accused are Rajendra alias Koki (son of Satyawan) and Nishant alias Neenu (son of Suresh), residents of village Bahari, Assandh police station, Karnal district.
61 grams of gold and 696 grams of silver jewelry were recovered from their possession. The investigating officer stated that the two accused had stolen gold and silver jewelry from a cupboard in their neighbor's house on the night of September 17, 2025.
A case was registered in this regard at the Assandh police station. Today, both accused were arrested and produced in court, where they were remanded to judicial custody.
