Una, October 6 - District Election Officer (Panchayat) and Deputy Commissioner, Una, Jatin Lal, informed that the electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (Election) Rules, 1994. This roll will be available for inspection at the relevant Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis, and Zila Parishad offices from October 6, 2025.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that if any person wishes to submit a claim for inclusion of a name in the electoral roll, an objection to the inclusion of a name, or an application for correction of errors in entries, they may submit it in the prescribed Form No. 2, 3, or 4 to the Revision Authority from October 8 to October 17, 2025.
The District Election Officer stated that the Revision Authority will decide on the claims and objections received by October 27, 2025. Appeals regarding these decisions may be filed before the Appellate Authority within seven days, i.e., by November 3, 2025.
The Appellate Authority will dispose of appeals received by November 10, 2025. Following this, the final electoral roll will be published on November 13, 2025.
He stated that each claim or objection must be addressed to the relevant Revision Authority (Block Development Officer). It can be submitted in person, through an agent, or by registered post within the stipulated time period.
The District Election Officer has appealed to the general public to carefully review the electoral roll and, if any errors or corrections are required, submit the claim or objection within the stipulated time period, so that the voter list can be completely accurate, up-to-date, and error-free.
