SAS Nagar, June 7- The holy festival of Eid ul Azha was celebrated with full devotion in the city and its surrounding areas today. On this occasion, the time for Namaz was fixed early in the morning and people of the Muslim community gathered in mosques in large numbers and offered Eid Namaz.
On this occasion, the Muslim community celebrated the festival of Eid at places like Balongi, Shahi Mazra, Mataur, Sohana, Kumbhada, Phase 11, Kambala, Kambali, Raipur Kalan, Saneta, Manakpura etc. Muslim community leader and Chief Advisor of Noorani Masjid Muslim Welfare Committee of village Mataur, Sodagar Khan said that Eid ul Azha is a festival of sacrifice.
He said that Namaz of Eid ul Azha (Bakra Eid) was offered by Noorani Masjid Muslim Welfare Committee (Regd.) Mataur. On this occasion, a Chhabil of cold sweet water was set up. On this occasion, Karamjit Singh Lala Mataur, Parwinder Singh Sohana, Harpal Singh Channa Mataur and Baba Bal Bharti Committee Mataur President Tarlokchan Singh attended and congratulated the entire Muslim community on Eid.
On this occasion, Committee President Jagdish Khan (Jugi) and other officials Sitar Khan, Rasheed Khan, Salim Khan, Manjit Khan, Salim Khan, Balwinder Khan, Fariyaad Khan, Dilbara Khan, Jafar Ali, Amir Khan, Bhim Khan and the entire Muslim community were present.
