Nawanshahr - Punjab Legal Services Authority SAS Nagar and District Legal Services Authority Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar under the leadership of CJM-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kamaldeep Singh Dhaliwal organized an awareness seminar at Rahon and Bhattian of Nawanshahr.
Addressing the workers, PLV Vasdev Pardesi and Des Raj Bali said that MNREGA women/men workers, masons/labourers, painters, plumbers, carpenters, steel fixers, who have worked 90 days in the construction sector during the last 12 months. 25/- for Marble/Tile masons/labourers, stone cutters, road construction labourers, electricians, POP masons/labourers, bricklayers and raw brick filling kiln workers, aged between 18 to 60 years at the service center. By depositing Rs registration fee and Rs 10/- monthly contribution (Rs 25+360=385/- for 3 years) can become a beneficiary of Punjab Construction Labor Welfare Board Chandigarh. On this occasion, he also gave information about the Free Legal Services Authority and the National Lok Adalat and in this regard posters and promotional materials were also distributed to the workers.
