Garhshankar January 4 – Here a delegation of Beet Welfare Committee (Area Beet) led by the President of the organization Balbir Singh Bains and General Secretary Narinder Soni met the Axion Electricity Board at their office. The delegation gave a written demand letter to Axion and demanded that the unannounced long cuts in electricity should be stopped immediately, keeping in mind the problem of drinking water in the area.
The press secretary of the committee, Mr. Ramji Das Chauhan, while giving this information to the press, said that the leaders of the Beit Welfare Committee insisted that Axion was informed that due to the lack of alternative provision of drinking water in the villages of the Beet area, people They are dependent on water supply schemes. These schemes of the water supply department regularly supply water to different villages in the area, due to which the villages which have power cuts do not even get drinking water, flour mills and all other activities are stopped. After listening carefully to the demands of the delegation, Exion was assured to solve them quickly and wrote a letter to the higher authorities today asking for a permanent solution to the problem. Apart from the said leaders, the delegation included Tirth Singh Mann, Phumman Singh, Surinder Pal Sarpanch and Satinder Singh Rimpi.
