Una, 12 April:- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited the site of fire accident in Upper Basal today on Friday. During this, the Deputy Commissioner met the families affected by the fire accident and shared their grief and pain and assured them of all possible help from the administration. He directed the officials to find out the cause of the fire so that such incidents can be controlled in future.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the administration has made arrangements for food for the affected migrants. Apart from this, relief will be provided by the Red Cross for which proper guidelines have been given.
Let us tell you that on Wednesday, a massive fire accident occurred in the migrant colony in Upper Basal around 4 pm. Due to the massive fire, about 18 huts of migrants were destroyed in the fire. Around 70 migrant people were living in the slums, which is absolutely safe.
During this, Tehsildar Una Shikha and concerned officials were present.
