Mahilpur, (April 6) – The meeting of Jai Bheem Caravan Charitable Society (RJ) Mahilpur was held today at BDO Colony Mahilpur under the chairmanship of Society President Seema Rani Bodh. In which Jagtar Singh, Sunita, Dr. Parminder Singh, Master Jai Ram, Nirmal Singh Muggowal, Jaswinder Kaur, Rekha Rani etc. members were present. On this occasion, Nirmal Kaur Bodh was made the chairman of the society and Sukhdev Singh, a retired police officer, was made an associate member and they were honored with siropao.
Speaking on the occasion, the members of the society said that Jai Bhim Karwan Charitable Society registered Mahilpur like every year with the support of Dr. BR Ambedkar Welfare Society Mahilpur on Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April, Gurdwara Satguru Ravidas Maharaj BDO Colony Mahilpur to village Fatehpur Kothi. A grand procession is being taken out to the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar ji located at This Shobha Yatra will depart at exactly 10.30 am. On this occasion, the Gurdwara Committee has specially arranged tea, water and langar for the devotees. After this, the Yatra will pass through Bhagwan Valmik Mandir Phagwara Road, Gurdwara Satguru Ravidas Maharaj, Main Chowk Mahilpur, Gurdwara Shaheedan Road and reach Nirvanu Kutia Mahilpur. On arrival at Nirvanu Kutiya Mahilpur, Shobha Yatra will be warmly welcomed by the Kutiya management. After this, the Shobha Yatra will reach the statue of Babasaheb through village Khanpur Chandeli etc. to village Fatehpur Kothi with chants of 'Jai Bheem'. On this occasion, after paying obeisance to the statue of Babasaheb, it will be decided to follow the path indicated by Babasaheb by doing collective meditation. Shobha Yatra will be warmly welcomed by the villagers and food and drink will be arranged according to the needs of the devotees. On this occasion, various speakers will shed light on the life and mission of Babasaheb. The members of the society requested the Ambedkari devotees living in the area to participate in this Shobha Yatra and get happiness.
