He said that various types of permissions are to be given to political parties/candidates regarding election campaigning during the elections. He said that the Election Commission has increased the expenditure limit of the candidates contesting the Lok Sabha elections from 70 lakhs to 95 lakhs this time. He said that the candidate will register all his election expenditure in the expenditure register and along with this, the election office will also set up a shadow expenditure register to keep track of the expenditure of the candidate.
He said that control rooms have been established at the sub-division level to register any kind of information and complaints related to the elections. He said that a call can also be made on the Election Commission's helpline number 1950. Apart from this, complaints can also be made on the C-Visal app. Apart from this, the instructions received from the Election Commission of India at different times will be posted in the group of political parties so that the respective parties can follow it. He said that whenever the administration receives any complaint regarding violation of election code, immediate action will be taken on it.
