Financial Literacy Week is being organized by the Reserve Bank of India from 26 February to 01 March 2024 across India. Whose theme this year is “ Start Right, Become Financially Smart ”.
Under this program, a financial literacy camp was organized today on 29 February 2024 at Optech ITI , Takrala Mod. On this occasion , LDO Mr. Ashish Sangra ji from Shimla office of Reserve Bank of India , Mr. Gurcharan Bhatti, Chief Manager of Leading District Bank , Managing Director Mr. Sushil Sharma ji , Mr. Dharampal Dhiman Financial Literacy Consultant , Una , Program Coordinator Akash Bhardwaj along with 8 More than 0 students participated. In the program, LDO Mr. Ashish Sangraji told the students about the importance of saving and inspired them to make saving a habit.
He said that in the present era, all people should have adequate information about various processes of banks , transactions , digital banking and various loan and subsidy schemes. With this, they will be able to take advantage of various facilities and loan schemes provided by the banks and will also be able to carry out financial transactions and business easily in their normal daily routine. Students will be trained in education loan and cyber fraud and digital awareness to prevent it. Gave detailed information about the necessary steps involved. The leading district manager told the participants about public safety schemes PMSBY, PMJJBY , APY and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. At the end of the program, a financial quiz program was also organized with the students.
