Patiala, February 6- Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav has said that Patiala Heritage Festival and Saras Mela will prove to be helpful in developing the heritage city Patiala as a tourism hub. She was holding an important meeting with all the nodal officers to review the preparations being made for the Patiala Heritage Festival to be held from February 13 to 16 and the Saras Mela to be held from February 14 to 23.
The Deputy Commissioner asked all the nodal officers to plan the Patiala Heritage Festival and Saras Mela carefully so that all the arrangements can be completed smoothly and on time and these festivals can be completed successfully. He said that this festival will play an important role in making our future generation aware of our valuable heritage, culture and rich heritage and will also prove to be helpful in developing Patiala as a tourist destination.
Dr. Preeti Yadav said that Saras Mela will be held in Sheesh Mahal from February 14 to February 23. While from 13th to 16th February, under the Heritage Festival, Nature Walk, Food Festival, Flower Show and Guava Mela, Drama, Heritage Walk, Sufi Sandhya, Adventure Sports, Military Literature Festival and Artillery Display, Dog Show and Cultural Night will be a part of this mega event.
