Una, December 13 - Under the drug-free Una campaign, Har Ghar Dastak campaign was started in Gram Panchayat Bohru of Bangana block, which was presided over by Naib Tehsildar Raman Kumar. While launching the drug free Una campaign, Raman Kumar said that to make the drug free Una campaign successful, the cooperation of the general public is very important, without this we cannot make any campaign successful. Because it is directly connected with the public and if public support is not received then drug dealers will continue to sell this drug network in the open.
Police and administration officers have also appealed to village heads and other dignitaries to cooperate in the campaign and have also provided them training. He said that in the first phase, non-addicts are being prepared to stay away from it. Secondly, those who take drugs occasionally are being made aware that even if you take drugs occasionally, you can still become addicted to it. In the third phase, those who have fallen into the trap of drug abuse and have become addicted to drugs are being identified and treated. He said that this campaign cannot be successful unless the general public, including every last unit of the public, cooperates in it. For this, Gram Panchayat Task Force has been formed at the village level, in which along with education, health, cleanliness, implementation of government schemes at the village level, active role is being played against drug addiction.
