In the Last days a seminar was organized by the Manitoba Hindu Seniors Society 834 Ellice Avenue. This seminar was on a legal subject- The importance of Wills and Power of Attorney. Solicitor and Barrister Avnish Jolly was a special invitee on this occasion. The lunch was served by the society in the beginning. Then Senior member Mahender Patel started the seminar with Ganesh Vandana.
     Vijay Prabhakar introduced Mr. Jolly to the audience. In his welcome address, Vijay Prabhakar told that Mr. Jolly is the third generation lawyer of his family and father were also a lawyer in India. After practicing in Punjab and Haryana High Court he immigrated to Canada. He passed his law exam from Ottawa University became a member of the Law Society of Manitoba and started his independent practice in 2018.
    Vijay Prabhakar shared his legal knowledge and experience about wills and Power of Attorney while practicing as a Lawyer in India. Then Mr. Jolly shared his knowledge about Canadian laws. Afterward, the discussion was left open for questioning. The members of the senior society came forward with their queries, which were replied to accordingly. He further assured the MHS that he is always available for society and the community. He is always at beck and call.
    In the last session, the vote of thanks was extended by the secretary Ms. Kamlesh Arora. Swatantar Prabhakar thanked Mr. Jolly for his valuable time and information.
